Kerbnow misread a sign, what now?
Tap the verdict screen, hit "report this sign", and send us the photo. We retrain the model on signs it has not seen before, and we tend to ship a fix within a couple of days.
How do you decide what is "safe to park"?
Kerbnow reads the sign exactly as it is written, applies the relevant Highway Code and TSRGD 2016 rules, and checks the current time. If anything is ambiguous, it tells you that rather than guessing.
I got a ticket and Kerbnow said it was fine, help?
Email kerbnow@shack.solutions with a photo of the sign, the ticket, and the timestamp from your scan history. We will help you with the appeal and feed the case back into the model.
Can I use Kerbnow without giving it my location?
Yes. Everything Kerbnow does works from the photo alone. Location is optional and only used to add things like controlled-zone hours that are not always on the sign itself.
Is my data safe?
We keep the minimum data needed to run the app. Photos are processed on-device wherever possible and not retained server-side unless you opt in to "help improve the model". See the privacy policy.
