How it works

From kerb to verdict in three taps.

Point, read, park. That is the whole app.

  1. 01 / Point

    Point

Aim your camera at any sign or kerb marking. Faded, at an angle or buried in small print, it still reads.

  2. 02 / Read

    Read

Kerbnow reads every line, including two-tier signs that contradict themselves, then weighs today's day and time.

  3. 03 / Park

    Park

A plain-English verdict for right now, plus the exact time you need to move the car.

Features

Frequently asked questions

What parking signs does the app read?

Every DfT standard parking sign, plus most resident zone, pay-and-display and red-route variants. Single and double yellow lines, loading bays, controlled parking zones and time plates all work.

When can I park on a single yellow line?

Usually outside the hours shown on the time plate beside it, which often means evenings, Sundays and bank holidays. Always read the plate, the hours vary by street. Point Kerbnow at the sign and it works the hours out against the current day and time for you.

How much does it cost?

Your first 3 sign scans are free. After that, unlimited scanning needs Kerbnow Pro: £3.99 a month, £19.99 a year (the best value, under £1.70 a month), or £39.99 once for Lifetime. Pro also includes scan history and move-the-car alerts. No ads, ever.

Do I need an account?

No. The core scan works without an account. Sign in with Apple or Google only to sync your scan history across devices.
