Kerbnow, UK parking signs, decoded. Can I park here right now? Can I park here right now?
Can I park here right now?
Snap any UK parking sign, Kerbnow reads it for you and gives you a straight answer. Yes, no, or "until 6.30 then you've got to move." No more squinting at 4 lines of small print.
Every parking sign in Britain, in plain English
Single yellows, double yellows, red routes, controlled zones, permit holders, school keep-clears, loading bays. Kerbnow handles the lot.
Snap any sign
Point your camera at the most baffling parking sign in Britain. Kerbnow reads it for you.
A straight answer
Yes, no, or for how long. No interpreting, no second-guessing, Kerbnow just tells you.
Knows what time it is
"Mon–Fri 8.30–6.30" means nothing at 4pm on a Tuesday. Kerbnow checks the clock for you.
Catches the exceptions
Permit holders only. School-keep-clear hours. Loading bay windows. Kerbnow spots them before the warden does.
Every park, remembered
Where you parked, when you parked, and what the sign actually said. Useful when a ticket lands on the doormat.
Move your car in time
Set a reminder for when your free hour, your loading window, or your meter is about to run out.

Real comments from people who stopped guessing at parking signs
Held my phone up to a sign in Soho and it just told me 'no, you'll get a ticket'. Saved me forty quid easy.
The amount of times I've squinted at a sign trying to work out if 'except permit holders' applies to me. Done with that.
Took a photo of the most confusing sign I have ever seen. Five lines, two arrows, three time windows. App had an answer in like two seconds.
Honestly thought it'd be one of those apps you download and never open. I use it every time I park now.
British parking signs are designed by sadists and this app finally translates them. Bless.
My partner now sends me photos of signs from wherever they are and I send back what Kerbnow said. It's our love language.

Got booked twice last year on streets I genuinely thought were fine. Three months with Kerbnow, zero tickets.
Does what it says on the tin.
10/10. Should be on the driving test.
I'm not even bothered about the price, the first ticket I didn't get more than paid for it.
Pulled up outside a school in Hackney, sign said something about 'school keep clear hours'. App said wait twelve minutes and I was fine. Twelve minutes later, fine.
Where was this when I lived in Camden.

Single yellow, double yellow, red route, loading bay, used to be a coin toss. Now it's just a photo.
Genuinely better than the signs themselves.
Visited my mate in Brighton, completely unfamiliar with the area, app handled it like I'd lived there for years.
Even reads the faded ones the council can't be bothered to repaint.
No more circling for ten minutes trying to read every sign on the street.
Downloaded it for a trip to London and now I use it in my own town because I never actually understood the signs there either.

Got questions?
How does it work?
You snap a photo of any parking sign and Kerbnow tells you, in plain English, whether you can park here right now, for how long, and what it will cost.
Does it work everywhere in the UK?
Yes, every council uses the same UK signage standard (TSRGD 2016). If you can take a photo of it, Kerbnow can read it.
Will it stop me getting a parking ticket?
It dramatically lowers the odds. Kerbnow reads the sign the same way the warden does, but a few seconds before they reach your car.
Is my location tracked?
No. Location is optional and only used to help Kerbnow check local restrictions on top of the sign, controlled-zone hours, residents' permits, etc. You can use the whole app without sharing location.
Does it cost anything?
There's a free tier that covers occasional scans, and a small monthly subscription if you park often. Both options will be live alongside the app.
